Union Fenosa, Self-consumption
The energy company Union Fenosa, installs a renewable plant, combining a mini wind turbine with photovoltaic. Enair was the company selected after a competition by the company and was responsible for the installation and the supply of the mini wind turbine Enair 70. With this installation Union Fenosa will do different tests of integration and will get to know the behaviour of this technology in greater depth.
Located in the centre of Madrid in the Corporate University of Unión Fenosa, at 193 Antonio López street is this test centre with renewable technologies through which the company will be able to evaluate both the performance and the optimal functioning of the equipment in terms of synchronisation with the network and many other factors that the laboratory decides to check.
The wind turbine Enair 70 connected to the LINTER laboratory ( The grid Integration laboratory) is being measured and evaluated by the company through a bidirectional meter and continuous monitoring and remote control that deliver all the parameters of generation with the minimum detail.
This installation consists of one wind turbine Enair 70 along with a photovoltaic plant, which is also evaluated in the same integration laboratory. Both have been thoroughly reviewed by the company's top managers and will undergo multiple processes and trials that will determine the final integration results.
Union Fenosa will also have one of these wind turbines in its installations, and will be placed in an advantageous state in anticipation of new legislative developments.
