Pig Farm
Farm with mini wind turbine energy for energy efficiency
A large number of farms have a high energy consumption due to the feeding engines and cooling fans for the animals. In this sense, and focusing on the energy efficiency of this installation, in particular the installation of an Enair 70 wind turbine on this farm in Gallifa, Barcelona, a noticeable decrease in the reduction of its electric bill has been noted.
The Enair 70 is connected to the farm's three-phase grid using three Windi Boy 1700 inverters, each of which is connected to a phase so that they are all perfectly balanced with the internal network and 100% of its generation is consumed internally.
On these types of farms, in addition to the significant advantages of direct energy saving, their products have a free path to obtain the ecological product seal, which means that the corporate image of the farms is reinforced and can transfer that direct benefit to its product, offering the market an ecological product, thanks in part to the renewable ones.
