Isolated house with fully equipped network
The renewable installation is made up of a hybrid system which generates 65% through solar panels (Photovoltaic) and 35% through wind energy.
At full capacity this installation can supply more than 60 kwh / day and is calculated to guarantee daily energy of between 35 and 40 kwh / day, all with only renewable energy.
Enair implemented the complete design of this installation, creating the necessary engineering project for the installers to carry out its execution. For this purpose, special spaces were designed taking into consideration the temperatures and the airflows. Anti-vandal safety structures were manufactured and the optimum dimensioning of all the necessary equipment was calculated by programming the main inverter, a Victron Quattro, 10000 VA, to guarantee the maximum useful life of its batteries, which is estimated at around 18 years.
The result of this installation is a 100% renewable house which through solar energy and wind power is able to support:
- 2 jacuzzis
- 1 pool pump
- 1 counter current swimming pool
- 1 Paddle court
- 1 gym
- 1 Heat pump to heat 150 m2
- External lighting for 1000m2
- A whole range of electric appliances (Washing machine, Oven, Hob etc..)
The system can supply a nominal power of 10.000VA and thanks to the Power Assist function of the Victron equipment and the connected auxiliary generator it could develop a final power of 20.000VA. However, the design was developed to maintain a constant power of approximately 2,000W, with an autonomy of more than 2 days without any recourse.
Nevertheless, due to to the programming of the inverter the batteries would only be discharged 30% and starting from this depth the diesel group would activate which would be responsible for always keeping the batteries in low depth discharge cycles which would extend their life.
Usually the diesel group starts in installations that only have solar energy because they only charge during daylight hours, but in this installation which also has wind energy and the capacity to generate energy at night we also extend the life of the batteries and in turn reduce the activation of the diesel group according to the design, getting it to activate 80-90% less frequently than being only solar.
